A picture of the Stagecoach X17 bus that crashed into the pawnbroker shop in Trinity Street, Coventry city centre. The taxi also involved is just visible through the bus windows (via Coventry Telegraph)
I’m hearing reports that a child running into the road may have caused this and that the bus driver may have possibly dies (unconfirmed though).
The reports of looting of ‘displaced’ pawnbroker stock are definite though.

New London Bus unveiled!
The classic London Routemaster buses - the ones with curved tops, rear steps and open rear platforms - were withdrawn in 2005. Since then a new ‘replacement’ for these iconic vehicle were being designed and created.
Yesterday the Mayor of London - the legendary Boris Johnson - unveiled the stylish, unique and eco-friendly new bus. The design has connections with the originals - curves, rear steps (there will be 2 staircases) and the rear open platform for hop-on hop-off commuting. Not forgetting a cheery conductor!
The first 8 vehicles will enter service on 20th February 2012 on route 38 between Victoria Station and Hackney.
