I have the baby pink HTX7’s and like them. They’re not very good at noise cancelling and find they echo my footsteps when I walk, but sound ok when you’re sat quietly on the sofa/train.
All I need is something to soften background noises - I already use Sennheiser HD 238 which are great but only sit on the ear and don’t to a thing to stop any other noise! Mostly I’ll be using them on the sofa to play music when other people in the house are watching bad TV programs / eating annoying food / yacking on the phone etc.
I like the retro look of the HTX7 more than the others and I’ve seen them for just £30 on one site, might try them.

I got mine for about £17 on play.com a while ago. Couldn’t resist! I used my Mum’s Dr Dre ear buds today and they’re perfect for sitting still but terrible when walking. Plus they hurt my little ears.
The Panasonic ones look quirky and retro!
